The ‘Atherton Tablelands Chamber Music Festival’ is an artist-led project directed by Australian violinist Khalida De Ridder and Danish classical guitarist Simon Thielke.

Consisting of four concerts across a weekend (in 2025 this is 18-20th of July), the festival but offers high quality programming, being the trailblazer for chamber music in regional Far North QLD.

Initial activites stemming from an international chamber music series established in 2016 with the aim to maintain, sustain and attract high quality artistic level in the region by engaging local, interstate, and international professional artists.

Our core audience is the community of the Atherton Tablelands and in addition, neighbouring and interstate visitors. Our concerts are inclusive, and we offer something for avid music lovers to first time concert goers.

Supporting this event as an audience member enables us to continue to contribute strongly to the Atherton Tablelands taking a place in the cultural spotlight.
